The community layer of the Ubujima ecosystem.

AfroCom is a community-driven platform designed to connect people, communities, creators, businesses and organizations across the global Afro-community.

It is the first major product being developed within the Ubujima ecosystem.

Current Focus​

AfroCom currently operates primarily as a community networking and opportunity platform.

The immediate product focus is to strengthen the core community experience while expanding the web experience and preparing the platform for a more modular architecture.

Architecture Mission​

AfroCom is evolving toward a modular, API-first, service-oriented architecture.

The objective is not to create complexity for its own sake or to split every function into a separate service immediately.

Instead, we aim to establish clear product domains and introduce independently deployable services where scale, maintainability, ownership or product requirements justify them.

The first architectural focus remains the community-networking experience that exists today. Future services can then be introduced progressively as the product expands.
